Catie Davis, a senior at Peekskill High and a theater kid through and through, dropped me the following note:
“As a senior project I am directing a production of ‘Rent: School Edition’ as an AIDS benefit. The show will be directed and performed entirely by high-school students, and all of the proceeds will go to Unite for Children, a branch of UNICEF that helps children whose lives have been affected by AIDS.
“I’m holding open auditions at Peekskill High School on Monday, Feb 9 and Tuesday, Feb 10, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and am wondering if you could post an announcement on you blog for me.
