Art Garfunkel comes to Irvington Town Hall Theater Oct. 12 and Armonk’s Whippoorwill Hall on Oct. 25 and 26 with“An Intimate Evening with Art Garfunkel” which is billed as “songs, anecdotes, prose and a unique audience Q&A session.”
The invitation comes with a few caveats. Apparently, the tenor appreciates the sounds of silence, before and after his concerts:
“Because of the intimate nature of the program, please use discretion with regards to purchasing tickets for children younger than ten years of age.”
“At the request of the artist, please refrain from the use of cameras or video/audio recording equipment of any kind. Cell phones must be turned off after entering the auditorium.”
“By purchasing tickets, you are verifying that you do not intend to report the details of this event or submit a review of this event to any commercial media outlet of any kind.”
Tickets are $40 and are reserved seating in Irvington, on sale now here; $40 and general-admission in Armonk on sale Sept. 1 here.
