Westchester’s singing phenom and “X Factor” alum Carly Rose Sonenclar will headline an event for her favorite charity, Starlight Children’s Foundation, singing at the group’s 28th annual gala on March 14 at the Marriot Marquis in Times Square.
The gala aids Starlight Children’s Foundation, which hosts seriously ill children with shows, classes and family activities.
“Starlight is able to help the children and families who need us most not only as a result of generous donors, but also through incredible volunteers such as Carly Rose who take time out of their busy lives to make children smile,” said Elaine Siver, executive director of Starlight Children’s Foundation NY*NJ*CT. “We are as enthralled by her beautiful spirit as much as we are her incredible voice and are so grateful for her dedication to Starlight.”
Carly is scheduled to sing what has become her signature song, “Feeling Good,” the song that wowed the judges at her “X Factor” audition. She’ll also perform Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” with several Starlight children and their siblings.
“I love working with Starlight,” Carly said in a statement. “The kids are so inspiring and I feel lucky to be in the position where I have the opportunity to sing with them, my friends, in such a special setting.”
The evening will include a cocktail reception, dinner and awards presentation. Joining Carly on the red carpet will be Aviva Drescher and Countess Luann from “The Real Housewives of New York.”

Still, if you can’t manage the grand, here are videos from Tuesday’s NYC event, which found Carly in her usual spectacular voice.
First up, “Feeling Good,” which is slightly different than her earth-shattering “X Factor” audition:
