From the it’s-never-too-early department, Pound Ridge Theater Company is hold auditions next week for its production next May. Here’s the announcement:
The Pound Ridge Theatre Company announces auditions for “Doubt: A Parable” by John Patrick Shanley, directed by Maryann Arcoleo-Koltun.
When: 7 p.m., Sept. 17 and 18.
Where: Conant Hall, 255 Westchester Avenue (Rte 137), Pound Ridge.
Rehearsals begin in March.
Performances: Fridays and Saturdays, May 17, 18, 24, 25, 30, 31 at 8 p.m. May 26 at 2 p.m.

SISTER ALOYSIUS (50’s – 60’s) – austere, world view is black and white, believes in strict discipline and creating an atmosphere of fear, reserved, watchful, unsentimental
SISTER JAMES (20’s) – sweet, loving heart, cares about children, teaching is important
MRS. MULLER (30’s – 40’s) – African American, trying to keep it all together for her son, protective, smart
