Palminteri will do benefit Q&A for Lighthouse Youth Theatre
Bedford resident Chazz Palminteri, whose autobiographical “Bronx Tale” story led to roles in “The Usual Suspects” and an Oscar nomination for “Bullets over Broadway,” believes in giving back. He created a website — askchazz.com — to share his showbiz know-how with up-and-comers.
And he’ll bring his stories to the stage of the Westchester Broadway Theatre on Oct. 1 — in the form of a Q&A he’s calling “Ask Chazz” — as a way of helping the capital campaign for John Fanelli’s Lighthouse Youth Theatre, which is looking to move from Thornwood and set up shop in Armonk. Palminteri’s daughter, Gabriella, appeared in “George M!” at the dinner theater this spring.
WBT has a long-standing relationship with Fanelli, whos Family Theater Company is presenting “The Music Man” there, through Aug. 26. For the Palminteri appearance, a pub menu with wine and a full bar will be available. Show-only tickets are $50, $30 for students, $150 for premium seating with a meet-and-greet cocktail reception after the show.
