Started the day yesterday at Harrison High School, which has a state-of-the-art theater and a black-box theater that would make any school drool. (OK, any school’s drama department.)
Harrison has a great tag team in Lynn Fusco (music) and Deb Toteda (director, choreographer). Deb is the former Debbie Spahr, who choreographed all over the county — simultaneously — at Kennedy and Briarcliff and Rye Neck and Put Valley, if memory serves.
She has settled into a great situation at Harrison and says she doesn’t miss those everywhere-all-the-time days, particularly when she can be home at 11 at night, with her feet up. Glad to hear it.
The kids in “42nd Street” were very much in character yesterday. Here’s their Running Lines video.
