If you were one of the lucky thousand who got to be in that loud proud hall last night, what was your favorite moment of the show? What memory do you take away?
when will we be able to watch last nights awards On Demand?
I don’t see it anywhere on the site.
Thanks!
Mary Gettler
Our favorite moment was watching our son, Dan Gettler from St. Joe’s Regional High School, perform STARS from Les Mis, as one of the Nominee’s in the 2011 Most Outstanding Actor in a Leading Role category. When the crowd and his cast mates began to cheer for him, it gave us chills. We were so proud of him and his fellow nominee’s. Also, we were so proud of the students from both St. Joe’s and Don Bosco, when each school was nominated they each stood and cheered for eachother, it showed great class and character.
Watching my grandson Alex Perrin win the Best actor award had my heart thumping and the tears flowing. Alex played Horton the Elephant despite the fact he is handsome charismatic and tall LOL. A true actor he played Horton as he is, self depreciating, compassionate, and loyal.
Always understanding his role and delivering, the Judges knew what they were seeing and hearing a natural actor and singer. moving around the stage with ease. hooray for the arts and those that are talented.
Good for all the students from every school. They all cheered for each other how great that was!!!!.

Hey, TheaterGirl143: Editors are working on a condensed version of the show. For now, you can go follow this link to see two unedited (and incomplete) versions, one short, the other long.
