If Broadway leading ladies are your thing, Westchester is the place to be this weekend, as two stars of that firmament — Kelli O’Hara and Sutton Foster — fall to earth in the Lower Hudson Valley for cabaret performances.
On Dec. 11, three-time Tony nominee O’Hara (“The Light in the Piazza,” “Pajama Game” and “South Pacific”) has added a show to her date at Mamaroneck’s Emelin Theater. The 8 p.m. show is sold out; O’Hara will perform a 3 p.m. matinee.
On Dec. 12, there’s just one chance to see Sutton Foster — a Tony-winner for “Thoroughly Modern Millie” and a nominee for “Shrek,” “The Drowsy Chaperone” and “Little Women” — at 7:30 p.m. at Irvington Town Hall Theater.
They are two stars who have arrived and, next weekend, they’ll arrive here.
