On May 10, faces and voices familiar to Lower Hudson Valley audiences — Croton’s Liz Callaway, Westchester Broadway Theatre favorite Robert Cuccioli and Shonn Wiley, who cut his teeth at WBT — will bring back 1966 in “Broadway By the Year,” an ongoing series of concerts at NYC’s famed Town Hall that marks its 10th anniversary season this year.
Directed, choreographed and starring Jeffrey Denman (star of the Broadway-bound musical, “Yank!”) the concert starts at 8 at The Town Hall, Tickets are $50 and $45 and are on sale through TicketMaster, 800-982-2787, www.ticketmaster.com, or The Town Hall Box Office between noon and 6 p.m. (except Sundays) at 123 W. 43rd St., 212-840-2824
1966 saw the birth of “Cabaret,” “Mame,” “I Do! I Do!” among others. This particular “By the Year” performance will feature more than its share of dance numbers.
In addition to Denman, the cast includes: Meredith Patterson (“White Christmas”), Shonn Wiley (Drama Desk Nominee for “My Vaudeville Man”), Kerry O’Malley (“White Christmas”), Jenn Rias, Elizabeth Clinard, two-time Tony nominee Liz Callaway and Robert Cuccioli, the Tony-nominated star of “Jekyll & Hyde” who is just wrapping up a run in “Nine” at Westchester Broadway Theatre in Elmsford.
On June 14, Broadway by the Year marks its 10th anniversary spanning musicals from 1990 to 2010.
