Wrapping up visits to the schools whose shows open next weekend. (I’ve already filed the stories on the shows that’ll open this weekend: Bronxville, John Jay, Kennedy, Clarkstown North, Harrison, Nyack, Pleasantville and Somers. They’ll be here on my blog on Thursday and in the Express papers on Thursday, too.)
Today, I’m up at Yorktown and then at Tappan Zee: from “Beauty and the Beast” to “Cabaret,” quite a transition.
Tomorrow, it’s “The Wiz” at Clarkstown South and “The Pajama Game” at Edgemont. On Thursday, I finish the week’s visits with Suffern’s “Les Miserables.”
Friday, I’ll be up in Croton Falls, for the Schoolhouse Theater’s “Kimberly Akimbo,” by David Lindsay-Abaire.
When I’m not all over, I’ll be writing, writing, writing: 14 musicals to write about for next week’s Expresses.
