Auditions are Friday for Random Farms Kids Theater’s production of “13,” Jason Robert Brown’s musical about being, well, thirteen.
Director Marc Tumminelli is looking for girls 9th grade and older and boys 8th grade and older for the musical, which will be presented by The Edge, RFKT’s company for serious high school and college-age performers. Anya Wallach, the diminutive doyenne of youth theater, is producer.
The Edge is a tuition-based program for kids. There is no fee to audition. If cast, the fee is $350 and scholarships are available.
Auditions are Friday, Oct. 2, from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Callbacks are right after, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. They all take place at The Random Farms Performing Arts Center, 77 Executive Blvd., Elmsford, just down the hill from Westchester Broadway Theatre.
If cast, rehearsals begin Oct. 5 and tech/show week is Dec. 14-20 at Tarrytown Music Hall.
