The Armonk Players will present a staged reading of John R. Arco’s “Dead Men Don’t Itch,” directed by the author, on Oct. 7 at 8 p.m.
Featuring the talents of Rodd Berro, Douglas DeMarco, Christine DiTota, Kathleen Huffman, Linda Mauriello and Lisa Pierce, “Dead Men Don’t Itch” is described as “a comic homage to the classic noir detective films of the 1940’s & 1950’s … filled with an abundance of duplicitous dames, punk gunsels, crooked cops, missing sisters, stolen Chinese jade statues, a clog dancing monk, and more film noir clichés, innuendos and double entendres than you can shake a loaded roscoe at.”
Admission is free. At Whippoorwill Hall. 19 Whippoorwill Road East, Armonk.
