Got this email from the folks at the Dobbs Ferry schools:

Have you always dreamed about being on Broadway?
(We’re at 505 Broadway in Dobbs Ferry.)

Have you always yearned to work in the theater?
(Drama or Musical)

Have you always aspired to be a stage director?
(MS/HS Auditorium)

Don’t look any further, we have the job for you! Dobbs Ferry Middle School and Dobbs Ferry High School are looking for a theater director to oversee either one or both of the following upcoming productions:

High School Drama – November 21st  and 22nd

Middle School Musical – March 20th  and 21st

The shows are typically on a 6-8 week production schedule. The Director is responsible for casting, rehearsals, prop list, set pieces, programs, ticket posters, advertising, etc. They will work directly with the Technical Director and Scenic Designer on each production, as well as the Musical Director and Choreographer if they are directing the High School show. Applicants should be able to multi-task and will be responsible for the overall practical details and artistic vision of the dramatic script or musical score and be able to work closely with the creative/production teams and performers.

This is a stipend position.
