All things theatrical

Curtain up!

February
5

Welcome to my new blog dedicated to the goings-on on stages across the Lower Hudson Valley.

I’ve been charting 62 upcoming high-school productions for my (now) annual look at every show between February and May on high school stages—and I’ve started going to rehearsals. (Here’s a tip: Get ready for plenty of productions of “Bye Bye Birdie” and “Grease.”)

The tech folk will also dig up posts from the old E-Team blog, so you can read what I’ve been up to over the past few months, too.

I’ll also link to my stories in the paper, so you can see what happens when they turn one theater-loving writer loose with a digital voice recorder and, on occasion, a point-and-shoot camera.

Should be fun. Thanks for coming along for the ride.

About this blog
If it involves theater in any way -- from grade-schoolers learning Shakespeare to high school musicals to Broadway veterans getting into character -- this is the place to talk about it. We'll have audition notices, casting notices, mini-reviews and plenty of ideas to fill a theater junkie's to-do list.
